When the album Big Swimmer came out I admit to being slightly disappointed – I missed the swampy fuzz of 2022’s I’m Not Sorry, I Was Just Being Me. A few listens later and I found I kept coming back to this record and it became my most listened to, and favourite album of 2024.
Straight out of Liverpool, Hannah Merrick’s schmoozy vocal, coupled with the shoegaze fuzz of Craig Whittle’s guitar is a glorious sound. Love this record.
