Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton formed Arab Strap in Falkirk in 1995. I’m not sure I really took notice of their single The First Big Weekend until a few years later, it’s obviously a belter and an anthem for lost weekends.
This track, The Turning of Our Bones is from their 2021 album As Days Get Dark – and this is indeed pretty dark!
