1997’s, Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space was one of those albums you knew was destined for greatness. A swirling mass of guitar and gospel tinged anthems from Jason Pierce, it stands the test of time. Even the packaging was out there – I have the special edition CD delivered as a big pill in a foil blister pack. The prescription box even contained dosage instructions, the attention to detail was amazing. Come Together is one of the noisier tracks, lay back and enjoy.
